Now I know what you are probably thinking: He said you shouldn’t double up or play catch-up or your bankroll is in the dumpster. Yes, I did say that but that was for option #1, option #3 on the other hand, is the riskiest way to play with your bankroll. If you are not the biggest risk taker in the world, this might not be the best option for you. But, if you want to live on the edge of your seat, stare down the barrel of a gun, pee into the wind, this might be the option for you. With the “doubler” or “catch-up” option, it is done just the way it sounds. But there is a catch to it. This is a risky football betting strategy because you do it when you are losing, not when you are winning. That’s why you are trying to catch up. Heck, if you are winning, no use trying to change what is working. But if and when that losing streak hits, this risk taker is in full catch up mode!
Example: Just like the other options, you do start with a bankroll and again we will use 10,000 units. Lets say your first bet is 110 units on a game. If you win that game, you continue with your 110 unit bets. But lets assume you lose the first game. On your next bet, you would double your bet to 220 units. If you win that bet, your third bet would go back to 110 units. If you lose though, you double again to 440 units. You will double only if you lose! When you win, no matter how much you have bet, your next bet will again go back to your starting wager, which in this case is 110 units. The reason this football betting strategy is so risky is if you get on a losing streak, you may be putting big units on a game. Now remember, when you finally do win, you should be back to even so that is the real good thing about this option. But make sure after you win, you go back to your original wager!
Having a bankroll means you are in it for the long haul no matter what option you choose to use. You are betting for the entire season looking for some profit at the end. You have to figure out which option best fits you. Maybe you want to do a mix of a couple of the options, maybe you just like one of them. Find your favorite football betting strategy and follow the guidelines! If you follow the bankroll guidelines, you should be ahead at the end of the season, which is always good!
