Welcome to Thehooks Book 2006 Kick-Off Edition. This is the first ezine since the Super Bowl. We have been. Well we could lie to you and tell you that we were just lazy or forgot to keep writing during the off-season but we won't.
We needed a break and to regroup for the upcoming year. We have been working behind the scenes and believe we have a great year planned for our paying customers and our Hooks Book customers.

Thehooks Press Release - Men's Club Sponsors Thehooks Radio Show
Thehooks Football Picks announced that The Men's Club of Reno and Las Vegas will be sponsoring the Thehooks Handicapping Hour. Thehooks handicapping hour will air live every Saturday morning from 8 am to 9 am on Thebuzz, 1270 am.
This will be the second year for Thehooks Handicapping Show and the first year the The Men's Club has sponsored.
"We are very happy to have The Men's Club sponsoring our show," said Leo Mendelsohn of Thehooks, "besides listening to our show on Saturdays, locals and people visiting the area can also come down to The Men's Club of Reno every Sunday from 4 to 6 pm for great football specials. Now you can talk the talk of football with Dr. D of Thehooks and have the best of entertainment in Reno all wrapped together in one show."
"We are waiving the door fee from 4 to 6 pm every Sunday starting September 10th. All you have to do is come down and enter into the Men's Club Monday Night Madness Contest between 4 and 6 pm to be eligible to win a $50 food and beverage certificate. The weekly winners will be entered into our monthly drawing, one of four chances for you to win, for a square in our BIG GAME football pool. We will also be giving out a Lifetime VIP membership (valued at $1,500)." said Aquila Nelson, the Men's Club VIP Host.
Aquila also added, "We will have food and drink specials and the hottest entertainers in town. And don't forget about our "Fabulous Feast Buffet" held ever Wednesday from 11:30 to 2:30 pm. Don't forget to ask about the Men's Club Annual Charity Celebrity Golf Tournament at Wildcreek Golf Course on September 12, 2006. Space is limited so sign up today."
Every Sunday from 4 to 6 pm you can join Thehooks at The Men's Club of Reno, get into the contest for free, enjoy the drink specials, enjoy the entertainment, and watch football. But, you must come down to the club from 4 to 6 pm to get into the free contest
You can hear the radio show every Saturday morning starting August 19th and join Thehooks every Sunday night from 4 to 6 pm at The Men's Club of Reno, 270 Lake Street, for your chance at some great prizes and of course the chance to "Experience the Difference" in Reno.
