Peyton Manning will not have two horrible games in a row, period, end of story. Lay the points because the Colts should not only win but win big this weekend. The Colts need to come out and make a statement after what happened to them last week, if they don't, this could carry over to a short playoff run again.
I know that sounds drastic but maybe this is what the Colts need to get back on track and actually be playing at the highest level when the playoffs start. They need to get it started or else they could slip to a 3rd or 4th seed with another loss or two.
So all we have to do is call the Jags and tell them to lay down, right? Jacksonville really matches up well against the Colts and have given them fits over the past few years. Jacksonville will be ready but the Colts will be getting some key starters back from injuries and now have a reason to play with some urgency.

Ohio St. vs. Florida for the national championship. That is right!
If USC beat UCLA, they belonged in the National Championship. They lost, Michigan lost against Ohio St a few weeks ago, so Florida was the right decision.
Ohio St won their conference. Florida won their conference. Michigan did not win their conference. Enough said.
Could you imagine if Oklahoma didn’t get screwed by the officials in that Oregon game? Their would have been another team that could have deserved a shot at the title.
The BCS will always have controversy no matter who they chose to play in the title game. Doesn’t matter what teams or what year, there will be some complaining.
Go to a playoff system! Top 8 teams play. Best 2 teams play for the national title. Even if they went to something like that, there would still be bitching and complaining and controversy and a big headache to everyone involved.
Colt Brennan... 1 TD short
Does he deserve any Heisman hype? Let me repeat that: Does he deserve a free trip to New York to watch Troy Smith win the Heisman?
How about that game UCLA played against USC? Talk about a win for the ages in Bruin land. Talk about throwing a wrench into the BCS.
How did Florida St make a bowl game?
They have way too many bowl games now! 32 I think it is. Hell, they have a bowl game in Canada now on the 6th or 7th of January! 2 days before the national title game. Let’s watch W. Michigan play Cincy in Canada.
Let’s play an old Sesame Street game. Which one doesn’t belong? Are you ready? It’s tricky. Rose Bowl, Fiesta Bowl, Orange Bowl, Sugar Bowl, GMAC Bowl, BCS Championship. How the hell does the GMAC Bowl get played on the 7th of January after all the other BCS bowls?
You go from teams like Louisville and Michigan and USC and LSU to Ohio U and Southern Miss. Explain?
Not much too say on the NFL side this week but I do have a few things.
Titans? Vince Young? Beating the Colts? 60 yard field goal to win it? Can you tell I’m mindboggled about this one?
Cutler. Jake the Snake. Cutler. Jake the Snake. Doesn’t matter who they have at QB, the Broncos are taking a tumble and it doesn’t get any better this week taking on San Diego.
How many people are getting screwed out of Thursday Night NFL because of the NFL Network? Thank god this week’s game pits two teams that their combined win total isn’t in double digits.
Carolina is 0-5 now when they lead going into the 4th quarter. This team could easily be 11-1 if they could hold a lead.
Best college bowl game this year minus the Championship game? I’ll let you think it over and get back to you next week cause I need time to think it over as well.
