Eagles Halftime Trend

We have been on this 1st half bet from the start of the season. The Eagles are a perfect 5-0 ATS for every first half.

They are also 5-0 ATS for each game but the better line is the first half. You only have to lay half or a little more than half of the line for the game.

The Eagles have come out every game and dominated from the start. They have opened up the offense with the addition of Owens and confidence in Westbrook. In previous years the Eagles have played conservative and won with defense. This year they are getting up on teams and have been leading at half by greater margin than they have been winning the games in 3 of the 5 games.

This week expect the halftime line to be Eagles –4. Lay the 4 and start making money on this trend. We think the Eagles will finish 13-3 or better ATS for the first half bettors.

From The Nose Bleed Section:

The Seattle Seahawks: Are they still your Super Bowl favorites? Back to back weeks they were thumped by two good teams, the Pats and Rams. Hey anyone can beat the 49ers!

Congrats to the Pats’ 20th victory in a row. Watch out though, they have the undefeated Jets this week. Then they play Pittsburgh and then the Rams. It could possibly be 3 losses in a row!

Can you believe Jerry Rice is only worth a 7th round pick now? Hey, it could be a steal for the Seahawks…now they have a wide receiver that will catch the ball.

Mike Shannahan and his ability to find running backs. After the last two weeks the Denver fans are saying Portis who? Denver got the better of that trade. No one passes to Champ Bailey’s side.

Dante Culpepper is the hottest QB in the league right now. Back to back 5 TD games! 18 TD passes for the year! 72% completion percentage! Just think the next Monday night game is Indy vs. Minnesota… Manning vs. Culpepper. How many TD passes will there be in that game…the over/under is 9!

The Falcons might be for real. They have yet to figure out the West Coast offense yet and are still 5-1. When Vick figures that out, the league is going to be in trouble.

Will the Packers win at home this week against the Cowboys?

How many people chose the Chiefs to win the Super Bowl? I betcha you are kicking yourself in the ass right now for that choice.

Game of the week: Jacksonville @ Indianapolis

Just The Facts:

We are stilled ranked #5 at the Ultimate Handicappers Challenge Contest for NFL Best Picks. (8-4) (67% Winners)

We are releasing two 5 hook (star) plays this weekend. This is our top plays of the year, month, century, etc., etc. The 5 hook plays are included in our regular football package. There is a new concept, give the customers your best plays when they buy your product instead of asking for more money when you come out with your top plays. We also have included the MNF game in our package because it is one of our top 5 NFL plays. No extra cost or phone number to call and buy over the phone. By the way we had the OVER last MNF as a top play and yes it was a winner.

We are in 21st place for NFL Picks at the National Sports Monitor.

We are in 9th in the NFL Total OVER/UNDER plays with a 9-4 mark at the National Sports Monitor.

We got back on track at the Hilton Super NFL Contest with a 15-15 record. It is a start of a roll to take us to the top. If we can go 20-10 over the next 6 weeks we should be in the running for the money.

Our free picks went 5-1 last week raising our season record to 26-19-1. (57%)

College Free Picks:

Memphis/Cincinnati Over 57

Two very explosive offenses will meet and rest assured the defenses will not determine the outcome of the game. The ball should be flying all over the place and the game will last close to four hours. Total seems a bit low so maybe someone knows something we do not. We still like this game to fly over enough to put it as a free pick.

Miami/North Carolina St. Under 40

Expect a low scoring affair as two of the fastest defenses collide in Raleigh. Both teams will struggle to put together drives and the only way this game goes over is if they turn the ball over 5 times. Even then the defenses might keep them out of the end zone.

Fresno St @ Boise St. -9.5

Boise State has owned this team since joining the WAC. Fresno State has not been the same since their loss to LA Tech. We think they are coming to the table with their hands empty and the Broncos will kick them around like a rag doll. Again we thought that Boise State would take care of business last week and they let us down.

Oregon +3.5 @ Stanford

The last two years the Ducks have crushed the Cardinals. This year they are the dog waiting in the dark that will again beat this team. The Ducks will win their 3rd straight game this week and look to try to get into a position for a Bowl game.

NFL Free Picks:

San Diego +3 @ Carolina

The Chargers may actually be for real this year. If it wasn’t for bad clock management and use of timeouts, they may have beaten the Falcons. Carolina didn’t look very good last week. Of course, they were playing the Eagles but they really didn’t have too much of an offense. The Chargers can put points on the board and that’s bad news for the Panthers. The Panthers are having trouble putting points on the board. Yeah, the Panthers have a pretty good defense but they are struggling a little bit this year. San Diego is going to Carolina and continues to play good ball and possibly come out with a victory. Take the Chargers and the points!

New England/New York Jets Over 44

The Patriots are not all about defense this year. They can score on offense and score a lot. After the first two weeks it looked like the Jets were going to be a high scoring team. The last few weeks though, they haven’t scored much. This week will be different for the Jets. This week they have to score points to win. It only takes two TD’s to beat the Dolphins but it’s going take double that to beat the Pats and that is why this game will be an over.

San Diego/Carolina Over 41.5

The Chargers can put points on the board. The problem is they can give up just as many points. We all know Carolina only put up 8 points last week but that was against the Eagles. You can at least count on 3 TD’s against the Chargers no matter what. It doesn’t matter if you win or lose against the Chargers; they are going to let you score! Look for this game to over.

Tennessee/Minnesota Over 53.5

It doesn’t matter if Randy Moss is playing or not, the Vikings can put up some points. Culpepper is on fire right now and no team is going to stop him especially at home. The Vikings could almost cover this over on their own. They put up an easy 38 points last week and you could see just as many points this week. The good thing with the Vikings especially with the OVER, their defense likes to give up points as well. This over should be somewhere in the 60’s by the end of the game if not more. Take the over
