Arizona @ LSU -14.5
We are taking LSU minus the 2 touchdowns against Arizona. You have one of the top teams in the Nation playing at home against a middle of the road PAC Ten team and only laying 14 points? This almost seems to easy and we thought about skipping this game just because it does look easy but we will take this as one of our better plays of the weekend.
The previous years the Tigers have been known for their defense and this year the D is still there BUT, the offense is what makes this team so good and honestly a good cover team because now they will put points on the board with the best of them. LSU has one of the best overall offenses in the nation; yes we said one of the best offenses in the nation.
Arizona has a nice team but playing in Baton Rouge will be a new experience for this PAC Ten team. Nothing against the PAC Ten but the we think USC is the only team in the conference that is capable of going into a hostile place such as Baton Rouge and competing. Just ask CAL about the SEC. LSU rolls easily this weekend.
Thoughts and Ponders:
If it’s not one thing it’s another for Big Ben. Going to miss the first game of the season cause of an emergency appendectomy. This summer it was a motorcycle accident that nearly took his life. Big Ben should wake up every morning and just be happy he’s alive. There are a lot of people who weren’t as lucky as him.
Is Georgia Tech that good or did Notre Dame just play that bad? I guess we will find out this weekend when the Fighting Irish take on Penn St.
Is it me or does it look like there is no real dominate team in college football this year. Last year we had USC and Texas but this year I think there isn’t a real solid team up top. Don’t get me wrong, I think Ohio St is a tough team but they are beatable. I believe that number 1 spot in the poll will change more than once this year.
Colorado lost to Montana St. on Saturday. Enough said.
Can you believe the bad luck of Michael Bush? Heisman hopeful and in the first week of the season breaks his leg and is done for the year. Hey Michael, redshirt and come back next year!
Was it me or did Cal look like crap against Tennessee? I thought Cal might be the best team in the PAC-10. Is it too late to take back that statement?
Every year that Miami/Florida St game gets better and better. That is of course if you like a knock down, drag out, defensive fight. If you want offense, you need to change the channel.

Game of the Week in the NFL: All of them! This time of year is better than Christmas…for me anyway. Hey, I’m single with no kids, the start of the NFL season is my X-Mas and all the games are my presents.
Was it me or did I come off as a big loser in that last statement? Oh well.
Now the Raiders signed Jeff George last week. This guy hadn’t played since 2001 but they signed him anyway. This guy was drafted back in 1990! Was it a publicity stud cause on cut day, he was cut. I’m confused.
Somebody will pick up Charles Rodgers.
I know I went on a rampage earlier about how great the NFL season is but the game of the Week is #1 Ohio St vs #2 Texas.
Well folks, the NFL season starts on Thursday and get this, two Monday Night games! Does it get any better? It might but when it comes to watching football, it doesn’t. This is the Doctor signing out from Thehooks book.

Our one hour show is aired live every Saturday at 8 am in Reno, NV.
