Dr. D's Thoughts and Ponders:
Turkey Treats:Some football picks to chew on this Thanksgiving. Everyone is in love with Green Bay and how great Favre is. Well I also believe Brett is great but I am not in love with the idea that this team will be able to beat Detroit in Detroit on Thanksgiving.
I believe more in Kitna and after last week I look for him to lead the Lions to a straight up victory. I will be taking the 3 and half points this morning. Grab yourself a nice cup of coffee and enjoy the game.
In the afternoon start eating whatever is put on the table and lay the fat 14 points. I know that the Jets beat the Steelers and yes they have played hard all year but and I say but - Pittsburgh has been a horrible road team, especially outside their division and the Jets are on a short week with a date with the high flying Cowboys.
Look for Romo and TO to have another great game. The Cowboys could give NE a run with Glenn back - if he ever comes back.
Now you are looking for the best part of the day, turkey sandwiches for leftovers. Enjoy you sandwich while you watch the Colts destroy the Falcons (minus 11) and USC put itself back in the Rose Bowl (+3). Why the Colts? They are all banged up and STOP - it is not why the Colts - IT IS - WHy the hell would anyone pick the Falcons?? The Colts will roll.
As far as why USC? One reason and really only one reason. Pete Carroll - Period!
Happy Thanksgiving - and one last tidbit - the best bet of the day is the OVER in the Cowboy game. Over 47 is cheap. The COwboys will score at least 40 and the Jets will score twice.
Betting Tips
Betting Tips:6 betting tips that I think will win 55 to 63 times this year. This is the only spot to get all 6, I list 4 of them on the site.
Well I guess the 60 plus wins will not happen. LSU and Purdue kind of screwed the whole thing up. I will continue to bet and monitor these games. Still 67 percent has put money in my pocket. I hope that some of you have been able to cash in too.
Last Week 3-3 ATS 50%
Season Totals - 41-20-2 ATS 67%
Central Michigan OVER (8-1-1) - WINNER. Final was 48-45 and they missed a field goal that would have put it into overtime. If it would have gone into OT they might have beaten the Boise-Nevada score because they can't stop anyone.
This week the total is still low - 63, started at 58. Akron will not huddle and yes this will fly over. I have been betting the over in the first half and well I have been cashing in big time. The first half is 31. I also like CM -2 to win and cement their bowl game. If they lose they have to win the MAC championship, but if they win they will go bowling some where no matter what.
Missouri First half (7-3) Lost last week on a cheap field goal. This week this gets interesting. I got my bets in and yes this is what I did, I am a FREAK! I bet 4 units on the first half against Kansas (+1) and then ---
Kansas (11-0) Last week - Winner!!!! Continue from above - I bet 4 units on Kansas -2 for the game. The sports writer thought I was a FREAK and I am. Go Missouri in the first half and then I will be rooting for the Jayhawks in the second half.
Purdue (5-5-2) Last week LOSER. Thankfully - It is Thanksgiving - this team is done because this trend has hurt my cash flow.
LSU (4-6-1) Last week Loser. They are laying 13 and I am chasing my money. If you just starting betting these trends - run away from this one. This is a dead horse. I will have to play them two more times (SEC and the bowl game)
L'Ville OVER (6-2) Loser and they are off this week. They entertain Rutgers next week. I have and will continue to bet the over with this team, even if they tackle once in a while.

It has been crazy and everyone is busy. In case you have not noticed some of our guest handicappers have not sent us picks. So a couple of the local Reno people were talking to me and asked if they could post some picks. I said okay as long as they posted picks every week.
