Dr. D's Thoughts and Ponders:
Turkey Treats:Went 3-1 with Dallas leading the way and now I have to think - Is Romo really that great? Last night he lead the Cowboys past the Packers in the NFC game of the year. In the process he set the TD record for Dallas in a season.
So is he really that great? I mean you are talking about legends, Dandy Don, Roger the Dodger, Aikman, and you can throw in a decent Danny White.
I personal like the way he has handled himself. He seems so humble but yet full of confidence. I think he is good and has benefited this year in a coordinator that is not afraid to open it up. If Parcells was still there the Cowboys would be 8-4 and Romom would have numbers compared to what Brett has right now, 20 TD's and 13 INT's.
So Romo is having a great year because he is good and is in a system, I might add - with great play makers, that is letting him play football. Only time will tell if he is great, but as a Cowboy fan it is fun to watch Dallas again.

Betting Tips

Well I guess the 60 plus wins will not happen. LSU and Purdue kind of screwed the whole thing up. I will continue to bet and monitor these games.
Last Week 2-2 ATS 50%
Season Totals - 43-22-2 ATS 67%
Central Michigan OVER (9-1-1) - WINNER. Wow, I had also bet CM -2. So when they were down 32-20 I thought - well you know what I thought. Then to get the win 35-32 on the two point attempt, well I was happy. The over is at 63 and yes I am taking them -3 too.
Missouri First half (8-3) Winner and I was wrong betting kansas for the game, but I had to do it. This week they are getting 1.5 points for the first half. Going to take the points and watch them beat Oklahoma.
Kansas (11-1) Last week - Lost!!!! They are off until the bowl season. I will jump on them right away because I think no matter who they play the line will go up, everyone will be jumping on the bandwagon - especially if Missouri beats Oklahoma.
Purdue (5-5-2) They were off and I am so gald.
LSU (4-7-1) Last week Loser. They are laying 7 and I am chasing my money. If you just starting betting these trends - run away from this one. This is a dead horse. I will have to play them and hope that they can win the last two games. Only one unit on LSU.
L'Ville OVER (6-2) Off last week and yes I bet them last night. The over win Thursday night will go on next weeks record. I was happy for Brohm and my wallet in happy today because I bet the over for the game and in the first half.

So a couple of the local Reno people were talking to me and asked if they could post some picks. I said okay as long as they posted picks every week.
