The football season has now officially ended with the Pro Bowl. We wanted to touch bases with all our customers and let them know that we have not fallen off the face of the earth. The NFL season did not end like we had planned but the college season sure did end on a good note. The college bowl package was a huge success but our NFL playoff package was not very good to say the least. The NFL playoff package customers will be receiving our college and pro picks for the first 8 weeks for free next year. Our combined post season fell right below the 60% guaranteed and those customers will be receiving the entire regular college and pro season picks for free next year.

The off-season will be dedicated to improve on the past season. We have already met and have many different ideas of what we can do to make the season better next year. We will keep in touch with all of you through out the off-season. Our ezine will not be sent out until March Madness.
One of our handicappers will be posting his free basketball picks on our main page during the basketball season. If interested please stop by and see how he is doing.

Thoughts and Ponders for the Super Bowl:

Congrats to the New England Patriots for their 24-21 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles

Can we now call the Patriots a dynasty?

Can we now call Tom Brady one of the all-time great quarterbacks?

Do the Eagles know how to run a 2-minute offense? They seemed so lost out there at times. Honestly, they probably lost close to a half a minute if not more. Do you think there would have been more effort with say 1:30 left from the 4-yard line?

McNabb made quite a few mistakes in the Super Bowl. Did it cost the Eagles the game? Maybe. But Brady wasn’t magnificent in the game either. He made some mistakes as well. It’s just that the Pats knew what to do when a mistake was made.

Terrell Owens actually produced during the game. Honestly thought he would be more of a distraction than a playmaker, and he proved a lot of people wrong.

The Eagles now have a taste of what it is like to be in the big game. Now will it take them 4 times to win the super bowl?

Is the Pro Bowl even worth watching anymore?

It’s fitting that Peyton Manning won the Pro Bowl MVP after the year he had.

What team will take a chance on Randy Moss? Ravens? Hey, if he mouths off, Ray Lewis will take care of him.

All in all, the year in the NFL was pretty special. From Manning breaking the TD record, a record no one thought could be broken, to the Patriots winning the Super Bowl and now could be considered a dynasty. Just think it’s only about 6 months or so till pre season.
