From The Nose Bleed Section:

Thoughts and Ponders:

Who would win if the Giants and Browns played? Actually the question should be, who would watch?

The Browns put up a miserable 17 yards of total offense last week against the Bills. You know your offense is pathetic when Eli Manning has more passing yards than you have total!

The Vikings are in their usually end of the season slide. There is one play that tells you that the Vikings are in their slide, kind of like the first snow tells you winter is here. That play was the end-a-round pass Moss threw in the end zone for an INT. It wouldn’t be that big of deal if it wasn’t for it being in the red zone and under 2 minutes left in the game. AWWW, the slide is here!

John Kitna could be starting for at least 10 teams in the NFL right now.

It’s time to let the Bachelor, Jesse Palmer, throw the ball in New York.

There are just too many bowls now in the NCAA. Soon you’ll be asking your buddy to come over and watch the Preparation H bowl.

You know you are a good quarterback and having a great year when you only throw 2 touchdown passes and people say you had a sub par day.

The Ravens, Jets, Broncos, Chargers, Jaguars, and Buffalo are all fighting for the wild card spots. Either the Broncos or Chargers will win their division. That will leave 5 teams fighting for 2 playoff spots in the AFC. That means a 10-6 record will probably not make the playoffs. What makes it even worse is that a 7-9 team will probably make the playoffs in the NFC.

Does anyone know that James from Indy is leading the NFL in rushing yards?

Only Alexander from Seattle has more touchdowns than Holmes has and Holmes has missed 5 games! That is what an unbelievable touchdown pace Holmes was on.

Game of the Week: Jags @ Packers. Packers almost were beat at home by the Lions and the Jags need to win to keep their playoff hopes alive.

Just The Facts:

We are in 35th place at the National Sports Monitor for NFL picks.

Our free picks went 3-0 last week putting our season record aat 55-37-1. (60%)

We finished in 11th place at UHC for College Picks.

Our Guaranteed picks went 3-7 last week. It was a tough week trying to explain to our paying customers what went wrong.

Free Picks:

Denver –1 @ Kansas City

The Chiefs looked pretty powerful the other night against the Titans. But remember, the Titans are a pretty beat up team with many of their key players hurt. That being said, they still put up 38 points against the Chief’s D. The Broncos are fighting for a playoff spot right now and still have an outside shot of winning their division. Any slip up along the way could cost the Broncos the division or even a playoff berth. The Broncos are a strong team and should come into Arrowhead ready to win. Look for the Broncos to win this game.

New England/Miami OVER 41

We all know N.E. can put points on the board but lately the Dolphins have as well. In the last few games the Dolphins are scoring anywhere from 17-32. That’s a good sign for an OVER considering they have lost every one of those games. New England should be able to put at least 4 touchdowns if not more up against the Dolphins. The Dolphins should be good for at least 17 if not more. This game should fly OVER if the trends stay the same.

Pittsburgh/New York Giants OVER 34

The Giants have trouble scoring more than 7 points since Eli Manning has entered as QB. The problem is, they haven’t stopped anybody from putting up points. Hell, the Ravens put up 37 points and that was all on offense. Considering the Ravens and Steelers are very similar in offense/defense type styles, the Steelers could score the OVER on their own. Running and passing all over the Giants defense will lead this game to an easy OVER.
