From The Nose Bleed Section:

Thoughts and Ponders for Week 16:

How about the Miami Dolphins upsetting the Patriots on Monday night! The Dolphins were acting like they won the championship! They even poured Gatorade on their coach! That’s what happens when you only win 3 games a year.

How bad are the Browns? They were shut out in the snow at home by a team that plays in 70-degree weather all year round in the Chargers. It wasn’t even close! This week they travel to Miami where the weather will be warm. They can’t win in the snow so god knows how bad they play in warm weather.

The Ravens shut down Peyton Manning to only 1 touchdown pass. That leaves Manning 2 TD passes short of breaking Marino’s record. This week he goes against the Charger’s defense. He should have 4 TD passes by halftime.

Did anybody watch the 49ers vs. Redskins game on Saturday? Does anybody care?

What will the Eagles be like without Terrell Owens? Same as they were last year. If he isn’t back by the NFC championship, make it 4 years in a row.

Brett Favre just isn’t the same as he used to be. Granted he is still a great quarterback, but he would have never lost in zero degree weather a few years ago. He made some stupid mistakes that would have never happened a few years ago. It doesn’t matter though because when it’s playoff time, he steps up. Look for the Packers to make some noise in the playoffs.

The Atlanta Falcons vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars would be an amazing Super Bowl. Both teams seem to know how to squeak out victories. Advertisers might not like that because most people would only tune in at the very end of the game.

The Steelers and Patriots showed they are vulnerable this week. The Steelers snuck one out against the Giants and the Pats lost to the Dolphins. Anybody could win the AFC championship now!

People say that the Broncos produce some amazing running backs. But what about the Chiefs? They are on their third string running back and he is running for 150 yards a game.

Just The Facts:

We are in 24th place at the Ultimate Handicapping Challenge for NFL picks.

Our free picks went 2-1 last week putting our season record aat 57-39-1. (60%)

We finished in 11th place at UHC for College Picks.

NFL Free Picks:

Green Bay @ Minnesota -3

It would be too easy to take the Packers plus the points this weekend. After all, it’s the Vikings and we all know about their demons from previous years. Well we are going out on a limb and saying the Vikings will put to rest the demons and win a big game in December. Green Bay will be the team that falls to the more explosive Vikings this weekend and it might not even be close.

Buffalo -11.5 @ San Francisco

Go against the Browns because they SUCK! More importantly the Bills need this game to stay alive in the wild card race and the Browns have already made plans for the holidays. Buffalo’s defense might outscore the Browns’ offense this weekend. It would be nice to see Bledsoe back in the playoffs.
