Half Price Weekly Package $10

We promised not to make any sales pitch so if you are not interested in our quality guaranteed picks, please skip this part. We are offering this special because when we went throught the email list we noticed that only a small percentage of the customers from Thehooks Book have purchased our weekly packages. This half price offer is only to Thehooks Book customers. The package includes the same guarantee as our regular package. This ezine is being sent early because we like VA Tech -9.5 as one of our guaranteed picks and we wanted to give away the first guaranteed pick to our ezine subscribers.

If we do not produce winners then you get the next week free. To tell you the truth, we struggled for 3 weeks and finally said enough is enough and gave all our weekly customers who lost in that 3 week period the entire second half of the season for free. We wanted to prove to them that we are here for the long run and we will produce for them. Not too many businesses would do that. We could have just said thank you and now it will cost you $20 since we hit 70% last week but we think they deserve more than just one week. We even guaranteed to win 60% over the 8 weeks or they would be given the NFL Playoff Package and the Major College Bowl Package for Free!

So if you are ready to take the step over to the company that takes care of its' customers and will not charge you an arm for the top picks, join us at Thehooks and start a relationship that will not let you down.

From The Nose Bleed Section:

Thoughts and Ponders:

-When did NFL coaches become sissies? Remember when a team was up by 17 with 10 seconds in a game and on the 2 yard line; they put the ball in the endzone to make a statement. When did it become ok to kneel down? No NFL coach wants to be the "bad guy." Stop being a wuss and shove the damn ball in the endzone.

-Peyton Manning threw another 5 TD's last week against the Texans. He now has 31 with 7 games left. He actually might break Marino's record. Maybe

-Dan Marino couldn't ask for a better QB to break his record. We all know that no one wants their record broken but records are meant to be broken. Rest assured Marino, your yardage record will not be broken for a long time in this run happy league.

-The Joey Porter/William Green pre game fight was more exciting than some of the games on Sunday. Hell, it was more exciting then all the heavyweight fights the night before! Porter could have knocked out Holyfield.

-The Dolphins need a new exciting coach for their team. Hey maybe they can get Marino to coach but knowing their luck, he'd quit after two weeks like he did this summer.

-How happy did Dave Wannstedt look on Sunday? Good choice Dave.

-Question of the week: How hard is it to score an offensive TD in the NFL? The Eagles would say it is as easy as skating while the Bills would say it’s the hardest thing to do in the world!

-Game of the Week: Atlanta Falcons vs. New York Giants. Eli Manning will get manhandled in this game and it will be fun to watch.

Just The Facts:

We are in 24th place at the National Sports Monitor for NFL picks.

Our free picks went 4-3 last week putting our season record to 40-31-1. (56%)

College Free Picks

Indiana @ Purdue –20

The home team is 6-0 ATS since 1998 and Orton will want to explode after the injury-riddled year he has had. The Boilermakers will show no mercy and crush Indiana this weekend.

San Jose State +11 @ Tulsa

San Jose State has confidence in all phases of their offense after their great performance against Boise State. The Spartans will stay close enough to have a chance to win this game outright in the 4th quarter.

Michigan State @ Penn State +3.5

The Lions keep playing defense good enough to win games, if only they had an offense. Michigan State will still be basking in the glory of their great win last weekend and let this one slip away.

NFL Free Picks

Arizona +3 @ Carolina

The Cardinals will be in the playoff race with a win against the Panthers this weekend. How the heck is Green doing this? Defense and clock control offense is the magic answer. Do not buy into the Panthers ability to score last week against San Francisco, they will not score over 14 points this weekend. Dennis Green for Coach of the Year.

New England/Kansas City OVER 52.5

This game might be as bad or good, depending on whom you like, as the Philadelphia/Dallas game. The Patriots will own this field before the game is over and KC will officially be done for the year.

Pittsburgh –4 @ Cincinnati

This rookie quarterback will remain undefeated this weekend, as the Steel Curtain will shut down the BUNGLES. The Bus will run wild and Big Ben will look like a 10-year vet playing behind the best offensive line in the NFL.
